Environmental Permitting

CES obtains permits for mining, construction, dredging, wetland impacts and more. CES has permitted more limestone mines in central Florida than any other consultant. Some or all of the following permits are commonly needed for large projects:

• Environmental resource permits (ERPs)
• Water use permits (WUPs)
• NPDES stormwater permits
• Industrial wastewater permits
• Air quality permits
• Incidental take and/or relocation for listed species
• Dredge and fill
• County and city special use

The permitting process typically includes a pre-application meeting with the permittee and the permitting agency, followed by submittal of the permit application, review by the agency, requests for and delivery of additional information, and finally notice of intent to issue the permit followed by the actual issuance of the permit.
