CES has conducted Phase I and Phase II ESAs on hundreds of thousands of acres of forestry/agricultural land and on hundreds of commercial and industrial sites across Florida for developers, investors, banks, timber companies, and mining companies. The Phase I ESA includes the following elements that are intended to identify the RECs associated with the property:

• Records Review – review of public records
• Site Reconnaissance – site visit to inspect the property
• Interviews – interviews with present and past owners, operators, and occupants of the property and local government officials
• Report – findings are summarized in a written report

If RECs are discovered, a Phase II ESA may follow that may include the collection and analysis of solid and/or liquid samples in suspect locations.
